If you're in Kampot, this experience is not to be missed. We booked through Tripadvisor and had an excellent time. Our guide and Tuk Tuk driver, Roy, picked us up from our hotel and took us to various locations, making the trip special with his detailed explanations in perfect English. We appreciate Roy and have booked another tour, hoping to see him again. The Tuk Tuk ride to Bokor Mountain and Wat Samprov Pram was enjoyable, and we requested that Roy drive a bit slower on the curvy roads for a more comfortable experience. The jungle scenery and sea views were stunning and made the hour-long drive worth it. This area offers some of the most beautiful mountain regions in the country. We had ample time at each stop and thoroughly enjoyed the five-hour tour. It's best to do this trip in the morning to avoid the heat and the clouds obstructing the views.
Visiting Bokor mountain was a wonderful experience. Our guide Roy was both knowledgeable and passionate about the area's landmarks, and he was genuinely friendly throughout the trip.
The tour of Bokor Mountain was wonderful. Our guide and driver, Roy, was friendly and very knowledgeable, sharing interesting stories about the various sites. The lunch prepared by his mother was delicious. We enjoyed beautiful landscapes, intriguing buildings, and spotted many monkeys. Be aware that the phone number listed on TripAdvisor is incorrect, but you can reach Roy through the app.
I had a fantastic experience exploring and gaining knowledge about all the different locations we visited. We encountered amusing monkeys during our hike up and down the mountain, providing great photo opportunities. Our guide Roy was both friendly and knowledgeable, and his personal connection to Wat Sampov Pram is truly fascinating—be sure to ask him about his uncle. We enjoyed a delightful homemade vegetarian lunch by the waterfall. This tour was excellent and offered great value.
I attempted to contact this company with some questions, but they failed to respond to my calls or emails. When I finally requested to cancel, they claimed it was too late, but if they had answered me sooner, I could have canceled on time. This is the only excursion I've encountered issues with. Proceed with caution. We were so frustrated that we chose not to go, and while they may be happy to have taken our money, we wouldn’t have participated anyway.
The weather didn't cooperate, preventing us from enjoying what would have been stunning views. Nevertheless, the leisurely TukTuk ride allowed us to appreciate the historic site, palace, and wildlife. It gets quite cool, so bring a jacket.
Bokor National Park may not be essential, but this tour was exceptionally well done, and the guide's command of English was outstanding.
Great tour guide, excellent itinerary, and an overall fantastic way to enjoy half a day. I truly appreciate it, thank you!
Roy was a fantastic and energetic guide with a deep personal connection to the region, having aided in the temple's reconstruction at the summit of Bokor mountain. He provided us with insightful information about the mountain’s features and the rich history surrounding them. With some time left at the end of our day, we opted for a visit to Kep, where we enjoyed a delicious and affordable meal at a crab restaurant overlooking the ocean, followed by a tour of Kep’s beaches and scenic views. I highly recommend this experience if you find yourself in Kampot.
This tour was fantastic! I highly recommend it.
