The transfer from the ship to the comfortable minivan was seamless, and our guide was right where we expected. We began by visiting a local family involved in fishing, butchering, and drying fish along the seawall, which offered insights into daily life in Cambodia. We also toured a Buddhist monastery and learned about the nuns there, engaging in meaningful discussions about the country’s history and current conditions with Choub. We enjoyed a beautiful waterfall where families gather to picnic and then explored the City Market. This tour encompassed a diverse range of local experiences, making it an excellent day overall.

My experience in Cambodia was terrible. The meeting process was disorganized, and the guide failed to manage the group effectively. The activity description was misleading; a beach walk turned into a two-hour wait. When we asked to return to the meeting point, the guide initially refused until we insisted.
