My experience with this tour operator was extremely frustrating. I booked a tour for April 27th with a scheduled pick-up at 4 am on April 28th. Unbeknownst to me, they sent a message via TripAdvisor later that day changing the pick-up to 3:15 am. Since it was my birthday and I was out celebrating, I didn’t see this message. On the 28th, a driver arrived at 3 am. The front desk at my villa notified us about the early pick-up, and we rushed to meet the driver but arrived at 3:25 am, only to find that we had already been left behind. We reached out to the tour operator, but they refused to send the driver back or issue a refund. TripAdvisor also denied my refund request, referencing the operator's message. The whole situation felt unjust, as they must have known I wasn’t aware of the change. This left us bewildered and disappointed. I strongly recommend looking for other tour operators, as this experience was severely marred by their poor communication and lack of accountability. I would rate this experience just one star, which still feels too generous.
I had a lovely time visiting Pamukkale and the ancient city. The water in Cleopatra's pool was quite warm for swimming. The schedule was adhered to, and lunch was served buffet style. Special thanks to Eric for his attentive follow-up.
Everything was great; our guide was kind and very helpful. I'm grateful for the chance to experience the stunning Pamukkale. I truly enjoyed it.
This was an excellent experience overall. The transfers were luxurious and comfortable. The sunrise hot air balloon ride offered breathtaking views and was reasonably priced, resulting in some incredible photos. The only minor drawback was the visit to the Onyx museum, which felt more like a shopping opportunity than a proper tour, but this was acceptable given the trip's great value. The included buffet lunch was also enjoyable. Pamukkale is beautiful, and the temperature of the Cleopatra baths is delightful, with the ruins beneath adding to the experience.
Eric managed our booking effectively, keeping us informed about the pickup time and providing guidance on ticket procedures, which was especially useful for the early start. The driver also performed excellently, exceeding expectations to ensure we got home safely.
I was very pleased with the tour. A taxi collected us from Manavgat, about an hour from Antalya, and we transferred to a minibus for our journey to Pamukkale. The stunning white, stone-terraced formations and the ancient theater left us in awe. We also explored Cleopatra Pool. Overall, it was a fantastic day, and I strongly recommend this tour. However, I think the visit duration could be improved by extending it from three hours to four hours for a better experience.
The Pamukkale experience and the site were beautiful, but the travel arrangements were quite uncomfortable and even felt unsafe at times. Our private transport picked us up from the hotel at 2:50 am, and I was genuinely scared during the ride due to the driver's reckless speed. We were searching for seatbelts for safety, but they were not available, which added to my anxiety. After that, we were moved to another vehicle that was very cramped with limited legroom. The return journey, despite claiming to have full air conditioning, was quite humid, and the vehicle felt overcrowded. There were moments during our drive back where the driver also sped. Additionally, we were charged 1300 Turkish lira for the entry to the site, which I believe should have been mentioned in the tour details, especially regarding the payment options, as tourists might not be comfortable using cash. It was disappointing to find that the Cleopatra thermal baths were closed for renovations — this was only communicated to us by the guide during the tour and I wish we had been informed earlier since I had been looking forward to that experience. Overall, while Pamukkale was beautiful, I think there are significant areas where the tour could improve.
In April 2025, my partner and I took a day trip from Side to Pamukkale, which became one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey. The journey lasted approximately four hours each way, but regular rest stops made it manageable, and the stunning views of the Turkish countryside made the ride enjoyable. Pamukkale itself was incredibly beautiful, with the unique white travertine terraces taking our breath away. We had a wonderful time walking barefoot through the warm, mineral-rich pools, which was a memorable experience. Unfortunately, Cleopatra’s Pool was closed for renovation, so we couldn’t visit it, but we will always cherish the memory of walking in the thermal waters. We also took time to explore the ruins of Hierapolis, near the terraces. The amphitheatre was particularly striking, and it was captivating to learn about the ancient city while enjoying the scenery. Be sure to bring a towel and wear shoes that are easy to remove, as you’ll need to go barefoot on the terraces. Don’t forget to pack sunscreen, a hat, and water since it can get quite hot. Overall, the day was well-organized and thoroughly enjoyable. If you’re in Side, make sure to visit Pamukkale; the experience is definitely worth the journey. Eric, the tour operator, communicated our booking details via WhatsApp, making everything seamless. I highly recommend a visit to Pamukkale when in Turkey.
The lakes are breathtaking, but I was disappointed to find out that the Cleopatra lakes have been closed for several months, which meant no swimming. The drive is quite extended, taking about 6-7 hours each way, although there are a few rest stops along the way.
The team's communication was excellent, and they provided timely pickup while keeping us updated on the schedule. Our driver, Jon, was very attentive, especially since my daughter was unwell, frequently checking on her. The tour was well-organized, albeit a long day. Without the guide and driver, managing the trip with kids would have been quite challenging. The guide was knowledgeable and supportive. I highly recommend this tour. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, the itinerary was followed, including lunch, and there were regular breaks for personal needs and breakfast. Pamukkale and Hierapolis are essential for history lovers, just be sure to visit on a sunny day.
