Reviews
The boat tour was extremely dull and lasted too long. There was insufficient food provided. Everything felt overpriced, and there was constant pressure to make purchases.
It was a fantastic experience. The service from pick-up to drop-off was excellent, and the day was well-organized and enjoyable. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any dolphins, but it was still a wonderful day. Thank you.
I was taken on a completely different excursion than what I had booked. I signed up for Dolphin Island, advertised as a serene getaway with three beach stops and a foam party, but instead ended up on a river cruise with just one stop and no foam party, which included a trip to Manavgat waterfall and a market—far from an escape from crowds. Throughout the experience, there was pressure to spend money, with anything besides a small, inexpensive soft drink costing extra. I have requested a full refund since I did not want to spend nearly two hours in a crowded market with my 5-year-old. It felt like a total waste of a day.
We enjoyed a beautiful day with great weather on the Manavgat and the Mediterranean. However, the trip was not what we had envisioned. We thought we would visit Dolphin Island, which I found online as a small island. While we understood seeing dolphins wasn't guaranteed, we didn't actually go to any island; instead, we anchored off Side, where we could either jump in the water or gaze out to sea. The excursion primarily involved cruising the Manavgat towards the city and then back towards the Mediterranean. We also made a swimming stop, spending about an hour by the water, choosing to either look out to sea or back at the Manavgat. After enjoying lunch on the boat, we headed towards Side, where we anchored briefly for some guests to enjoy the water. Approximately half an hour later, we returned to the jetty around 3 p.m. The crew was very friendly and accommodating, but the boat trip did not align with our expectations.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip! We had a bit of trouble that morning, mistakenly requesting pick up from a nonexistent local hotel, which turned out to be a 10-minute drive away. Thankfully, the operator provided us with contact details the day before, and the gentleman in charge was incredibly accommodating, helping us rearrange our pick up from our actual hotel. Even though we were late and caused some inconvenience for the drivers, they remained friendly, and the coordinator was kind and communicated in everyone's native language. The boat experience was fantastic, and the diverse group—including solo travelers, families, and a hen party—created a fun atmosphere where by the end, people were bonding like close friends. The main host was very personable and genuinely enthusiastic about his work. The first beach stop was delightful, complete with a pancake stand for a snack before lunch. The host also took professional photos for purchase after lunch, ensuring everyone looked great in the shots; we ended up buying more pictures than we planned because of his excellent bargaining skills, with prints priced at just €5 or framed at €15. Soft drinks were nice, and while we didn't buy from the bar, they seemed affordably priced. We even had the thrill of jumping off a pirate's plank and enjoyed swimming in the open sea near the Temple of Apollo. Sunbeds were available at the first drop-off for those wanting to relax in the sun. Overall, it was an excellent experience—though lunch didn't include fish, we were offered extra rice when we opted out of chicken. The trip length was just right, and we returned to our hotel by 4 PM. We didn't see any dolphins or turtles, but as the last trip of the season, we were content to soak in the lovely views. This was a fantastic value for the price, and I highly recommend it.
The pickup was smooth, but we faced a long wait before departing on the boat. Our first stop was a beach after about 30 minutes, followed by a disappointing cold lunch. The Mediterranean conditions turned stormy, prompting the tour guide to halt the trip. The boat was rocking so much that it became uncomfortable. When we reached “Dolphin Island,” which was merely a rock, we couldn’t stop due to dangerous weather, so we headed back without a break. The return trip was worse, and when we thought we were close to the hotel, we unexpectedly stopped again at the initial beach. No one wanted this; everyone just wanted to return to the hotel. I wouldn’t want to experience this again.
The boat trip was enjoyable, and the kids were well entertained. However, the tour claims to include unlimited soft drinks and lunch. Staff offer canned drinks, crisps, and ice cream, which are not part of the package and are expensive. WiFi is an additional €3. Only the drinks served at the bar, specifically Pepsi and Mirinda Orange, are complimentary. We ended up spending over €40 on three Capri-Suns, two cans of soft drinks, and five ice creams. The foam party at the end was a highlight that the kids loved. Lunch was decent, consisting of grilled chicken, bulgur, and salad, which was the only option available.
I had an amazing experience on this boat tour and would happily do it again.
I went on a Wednesday and it was an amazing experience. The crew was wonderful, and the boat trip itself was enjoyable. While we didn't spot any dolphins, we did see sea turtles. The foam party was definitely the highlight and a lot of fun. The food was delicious, and we had unlimited soft drinks. The music selection included various languages, but I would have liked to hear a bit more English music, though it was still quite good.
It was an excellent day, and we were fortunate to spot dolphins. Overall, everything was great—accommodating and friendly staff, family-friendly atmosphere, and numerous opportunities for swimming.
