It was home to all subsequent viceroys and governors-general of India and is situated on Observatory Hill, one of the seven hills forming Shimla. • A visit to the Buddhist monastery provides an opportunity to engage with the monks. • We will stop at the Human Hope Foundation, an NGO dedicated to the education and health of underprivileged children. • Sanjauli, a part of Shimla, features a pleasant market; we will also explore the vegetable wholesale market there.
