It served as a leisure area for the British prior to independence and is a key attraction in Shimla. The playground is circular in shape and hosts parades, army events, sports, and festivals like Dushhera, appealing to cricket and polo enthusiasts. • The Ridge is located near Mall Road, the primary shopping hub of Shimla.
