• You will be collected from your hotel in the morning and begin with a visit to the historic Jakhoo Temple, located at 8000 feet above sea level, providing a scenic view of Shimla. This temple is dedicated to the Monkey God, Hanuman, who, according to the Hindu epic Ramayana, rested here while searching for the magical Sanjivini herb to save Laxman (brother of God Rama). Participate in the morning prayers at this location. • Afterwards, enjoy breakfast (beverage not included) at a local eatery. The next stop is the 20th-century Sankat Mochan Temple, also devoted to Hanuman, situated among trees that provide a serene environment for quiet reflection. • The final visit of the day is to the Kali Bari temple, which dates back to 1845 and is dedicated to Goddess Shyamala, the namesake of Shimla. Goddess Shyamala is worshipped in the forms of Durga and Kali. Following the tour, lunch (beverage not included) will be served at a local restaurant. Once lunch is finished, you will be returned to your hotel.
