What's the itinerary?+
• Hotel pickup will occur in the morning, followed by a visit to the Jakhoo Temple, located 8000 feet above sea level, which provides a panoramic view of Shimla. This temple is dedicated to the Monkey God, Hanuman, who, according to the Ramayana, paused here while searching for the Sanjivini herb to revive Laxman, the brother of Lord Rama. Morning prayers can be attended here. • The next destination is the Sankat Mochan Temple, built in the 20th century and also dedicated to Hanuman. Surrounded by trees, this temple is a tranquil spot for silent meditation. • The final visit for the day is the Kali Bari Temple, constructed in 1845, dedicated to Goddess Shyamala, the namesake of Shimla. The Goddess Shyamala is also worshipped in forms of Durga and Kali. Upon completion of the tour, you will be returned to your hotel.
