• This is a highly sought-after tour. You will have the opportunity to drive your own sled-dog team alongside the team of six-time Iditarod champion Dallas Seavey, supported by mushers, handlers, and champion dogs in real snow amidst stunning scenery. The adventure begins with a helicopter flight over glaciers, where sightings of moose, black bears, Dall sheep, and goats are common. You will land on a glacier and spend an entire hour with the champion sled dogs and their mushers who stay here during the summer. During the dogsled experience, you can choose to stand on the runners and mush or simply sit on the sled while the mushers manage the team. After the dog tour, you will meet the canine athletes that pulled your sled and can take photos with your favorite dogs. Following the tour, the helicopter will return you to the lodge, flying over lower glaciers where you can observe blue melt pools and crevasses. Total Tour Time: 1.5 hours - includes 1 hour with the dog team (approximately 25 minutes on the sled) and about 20 minutes of flightseeing. • The journey includes a flight over Resurrection Bay en route to your glacier dogsled tour.
