This tour was truly incredible. The crew displayed vast knowledge and showed genuine compassion towards all guests. I’ve never encountered a friendlier group. We experienced a wealth of fascinating wildlife and gained so much insight. If you're uncertain about booking this, it's absolutely worth every moment.
I wholeheartedly endorse the 6-hour sea life cruise with lunch. We arranged this activity independently before our cruise, and it was a fantastic choice. We encountered numerous bucket list animals, including otters, sea lions, two puffin species, mountain goats, a pair of bald eagles, and even humpback whales right outside the Seward harbor, including a mother and baby. The lunch consisted of a hearty Kaiser roll filled with generous slices of lunch meat, lettuce, and tomato, along with a bag of chips, a power granola bar, and a soft drink. We also treated ourselves to a spicy Bloody Mary and a Glacier Margarita featuring chunks of glacier ice from the Ailik Glacier that we witnessed calving. This was truly an incredible experience. We viewed Holgate Glacier from a distance but got up close to Aialik Glacier, where we witnessed around 6 or 7 calving events within 20 minutes. It was fantastic! Ice was collected and added to our cocktails for the return trip. Additionally, the prices for food and drinks on board were quite reasonable compared to most Alaskan venues. The crew was attentive, assisting passengers who felt uneasy, answering questions, and even bringing drinks to our table from the bar. There were various groups on board, including families, young couples, and retirees. We traveled 101 miles on Alaskan waters. It's an amazing experience—book it, you won't regret it.
An excellent tour featuring a top-notch ship and crew. We encountered plenty of wildlife and breathtaking views of the fjord and glaciers. The ship offered tasty food and drinks, along with comfortable seating.
This tour was incredible and exceeded expectations. It was amazing to witness in person the things I had seen on TV while growing up. The crew was professional and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
This was a fantastic experience that is definitely worth the cost. The ship was clean and the crew was excellent, providing great information about the wildlife and glaciers we encountered. It was colder than anticipated, so dress for the wind while at sea. If you're prone to motion sickness, be sure to take medication as the waters can get a bit rough.
This tour was fantastic. The crew was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Captain Chris navigated the boat expertly, taking us to numerous wonderful locations. We spotted bald eagles, humpback whales, fin whales, otters, seals, and even a goat. I highly recommend this experience.
This experience was truly incredible! If you're unsure, go for it! Just make sure to remain on the boat!
I enjoyed every moment of this cruise. The captain highlighted incredible wildlife, and we had ample time at the glacier to capture all the photos we desired. It’s definitely a trip worth taking.
Kenai Fjords offers breathtaking views of Alaska's landscapes. We had the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including Bald Eagles, Tufted Puffins, Cormorants, and Terns. In addition, we spotted a mother Humpback Whale with her calves, along with other male humpbacks. Sea Lions, Otters, Black Bears, and Mountain Goats were also among the wildlife we encountered.
The crew was fantastic with excellent narration and delicious food. I really enjoyed the entire experience.
