The lunch was simple, consisting of a wrap and chips, but there were plenty of drink options available for purchase. Despite the chilly, rainy weather in mid-August, the ample indoor and outdoor seating made the experience enjoyable. Overall, it's a well-rounded tour with a fantastic boat ride.

It was an amazing day spent in Resurrection Bay. Captain Mark along with his team, Sarah, Casey, and Quinn, were extremely accommodating and friendly. As an Alaskan resident, I love taking visitors on glacier and wildlife cruises, and this one exceeded all my previous experiences. The longer day cruise is absolutely worth the expense, especially with the resident discount. Despite the cloudy and foggy conditions in Seward, we spotted a variety of Alaskan wildlife including eagles, glaciers, otters, harbor seals, whales, puffins, sea stars, and sea lions. It was truly an unforgettable adventure! Captain Mark shared valuable insights from his 30+ years in the area. The food was enjoyable, but I recommend bringing additional snacks and drinks for a longer day. Dressing in layers is essential to fully enjoy the outdoor views, and waterproof clothing is advisable.
The glacier walk was likely the highlight of our trip to Alaska, which included Fairbanks and Seward. Our guide was friendly and informative. She met us at our pickup location and then drove us to our hotel just a mile away so I could park my car in a place I felt safer. Safety was prioritized without being excessive. The lunch at the lodge was fantastic! We left the glacier earlier than planned since my fiancé got tired, and being senior citizens, we appreciated that. As the first group at the lodge for lunch, we secured the best table. The food was superb, and I highly recommend trying the pie with ice cream for dessert. Unfortunately, I can't recall the guide's name, but I would highly suggest her for anyone considering this excursion.
