The tour of the park was outstanding, with guides who had an impressive wealth of knowledge. I gained so much insight. It was a perfect spot for our lunch picnic. Highly recommend!
Our guide Scott was fantastic. He was professional and had extensive knowledge about Sequoia National Park.
Alysia's warm and approachable personality instantly put us at ease. She clearly prioritized making the experience enjoyable, taking time to connect with us and sharing her own story. Her enthusiasm for environmental protection was evident, reflecting her respect for nature and the importance of our role in it. The tour through Sequoia National Park was enhanced by her extensive knowledge. Alysia handled the challenging, winding drive while keeping us entertained with fascinating stories and facts. Her authenticity and humor shone through; she had no trouble making jokes and laughing at herself. She offered choices for our activities, inviting me to the river while the group visited Hospital Rock. Alysia also crafted an immersive experience, guiding us into a massive log to sit in silence and visualize hibernation. When the fog appeared, she thoughtfully reminded us to appreciate it, expressing how much the trees were enjoying the weather.
Thank you, Paul, for your warmth, humor, and expertise that turned the tour into an incredible experience! Wishing blessings to you and your family!
The guide was outstanding and had a wealth of knowledge regarding the park, its birds, trees, and history. She made sure to explain everything we were seeing and encouraged us to ask questions, always providing thoughtful answers.
Scott was an excellent guide, showcasing extensive knowledge of the park and its magnificent sequoia trees. The trees themselves are stunning, and the beauty of the park is truly remarkable.
Paul, our guide, was exceptional and incredibly knowledgeable. He took care of every person in our group, ensuring that we all felt valued throughout the day.
This tour might not be suitable for those looking to hike longer trails. The road to Moro Rock was closed, so our guide said we didn't have time to visit the rock or hike the Congress Trail. If you have your own vehicle, the road is in decent shape with several pull-off areas, although it is quite curvy. In hindsight, we could have explored the sites ourselves and spent more time hiking. Our guide, Scott, was well-informed, particularly about Black Bears and forest biology. The trip's description mentioned that we would all receive Sequoia seeds, but Scott informed us that only one seed would be given per group that signed up together.
Paul was incredible! He provided us with a wealth of information that we wouldn't have discovered otherwise. The van was very comfortable, the lunch was delicious, and he captured some great photos of us. Thank you, Paul, for a memorable day.
Elenor was friendly, well-informed about Sequoia National Park, and attentive to everyone's needs on the tour. Her positive demeanor, patience, and calm driving along the winding roads contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
