We had an incredibly lively and charming guide who provided a fantastic overview of the night sky. Her storytelling connected the stars' names to Greek mythology, making it educational as well. It was a bit cold in late September, but the experience was worth every penny. The chairs were quite comfortable too. I highly recommend this night sky tour, especially around the New Moon when the darkness enhances the view.
After dinner, we headed into the park and found a spot to park. The sky was simply stunning. You truly miss out on so much in the city when you see the night sky from this location. Even the kids were quiet, mesmerized by the beauty above. A must-visit.
Krista was fantastic! To my surprise, after the stargazing, my three teenagers expressed how much they enjoyed it. They couldn't stop praising Krista, noting that she was a great teacher and very engaging. My wife and I had a wonderful time, gaining so much knowledge about stars and our galaxy. Her impressive laser pointer helped us easily identify stars, constellations, and satellites. The comfortable seating and smooth setup upon our arrival enhanced the experience. Krista also communicated well, offering alternatives when the weather appeared uncertain. Fortunately, we proceeded as planned, and the skies cleared beautifully. Krista was an excellent host, warm and welcoming. My wife and I loved discussing the constellations and hearing the stories behind them. We even spotted a grey fox on our way out of the park.
