Reviews
The scenery in Sedona was stunning, but the tour itself fell short. The guide often shared personal stories about moving from Alaska, even pointing out his house. His humor didn’t resonate with me. The bus was outdated, featuring bench seats with faulty seat belts, and while local blankets attempted to add charm, the vehicle clearly needed modernization. Other groups from the same company had newer buses with better amenities, and their guides were more engaging, often entering sites with guests, unlike ours, who merely gave a brief overview. This experience didn't justify the cost; I recommend seeking other tour options. Additionally, the company's office was in a crystal shop with no available parking, which felt out of place and seemed more like a sales tactic.
Kevin, our guide, was fantastic. He had extensive knowledge about the area and kept us laughing throughout the tour. His interaction with clients and unexpected wit made it enjoyable. While the pickup from our hotel was convenient, the meeting point, Dragon's Den, felt too cramped for the vans, making arrival a bit of a hassle. Despite the higher cost—$125 for a half-day in Sedona compared to another company's $200 for an 11-hour Grand Canyon tour—this experience was enriching. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed discussing the insights we gained for the rest of our trip. Kevin truly made it memorable.
Kevin was a fantastic guide. It was a great tour!
Kevin was an exceptional guide, imparting a wealth of historical knowledge about Sedona and the various locations we explored on the tour. This experience is a fantastic way to gain insight into the area and discover highlights to explore further on your own. For anyone seeking to revitalize their spirit or simply have a refreshing experience, Sedona is a breathtaking destination that you should not miss.
The tour was highly historical, and our guide Kevin was outstanding.
This tour of Sedona was fantastic, showcasing the top sights. Our small group of 10 was ideal, and our guide Stu was exceptional—engaging, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this experience.
This was an excellent tour with a fantastic guide. Stu had a wealth of knowledge about Sedona. It was definitely worth the cost, and I would recommend it to everyone.
This tour was quite fascinating, and the views were stunning. Our guide, John, had a deep understanding of the area and responded well to questions. I would definitely recommend it.
We booked this tour expecting a half-day Sedona experience, but found out that the company only offers the Best of Sedona tour. Many stops listed for this tour were not included anymore, which we discovered only after getting on the vehicle. When we checked in, our name wasn’t called, and we were only placed with a different group because we spoke up. This led us to visit unexpected locations, which was frustrating. While the Best of Sedona tour itself was enjoyable and our guide was excellent, the experience was marred by not getting what we initially wanted. We had certain sights in mind that we missed, and some we weren't interested in seeing. It's essential for the tour details to be accurate, so I recommend verifying with the tour's website to ensure you're booking the right experience.
My mom and I really enjoyed this tour. It was wonderful to see the sights without having to drive at all.
