Fantastic tour experience! Our guide Lars was both entertaining and informative. It was a wonderful way to enjoy a couple of hours in Seattle.
Exceeding my expectations, it was a beautiful day with stunning mountain views all around. It can become chilly and breezy, so I recommend bringing a jacket, gloves, and a well-fitting hat.
The tour was exceptionally organized. The commentary was excellent—clear, easy to hear, and pertinent. I appreciate the efforts of Argossy Cruise.
Very engaging, enjoyable, and educational.
Wonderful spot to explore on a pleasant day, not only for the locks but also for the expansive park filled with blooming trees. There are nearby restaurants, and I recommend taking advantage of the free street parking.
The crew was knowledgeable and welcoming. This was one of our favorite activities during our visit to Seattle.
It was a wonderful experience. The travel guide was fantastic, and I highly recommend taking part in this. The captain also provided a lot of valuable information.
The day was lovely, and the experience was fantastic. I found it fascinating to learn about the history of the lakes and various waterways during the guided tour, along with the stories of the towns we passed. My highlight was definitely going through the lock itself, transitioning from freshwater to saltwater. I valued the educational aspect.
The weather during our cruise was amazing. It was wonderful to navigate Lake Union, pass through the Ballard locks, and take in the view of Seattle from a different perspective. Our guide provided excellent information, and the boat was pleasantly uncrowded, with fantastic onboard facilities including drinks and snacks—everything you could want for an enjoyable day. I highly recommend this tour.
We departed from Union Lake and explored the history of old boats, including the tugboat Arthur Foss and a vintage fireboat. We also enjoyed watching seaplanes land and took a lovely trip through the locks and sound, gaining breathtaking views of Seattle from the water. A highlight was spotting an orca in the sound. The weather was fantastic, and our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, there was cold beer available on board.
