  We've relied on Seattle Express for many years while traveling to and from Seattle and have always appreciated their service. We rated it four stars because of some confusion with Seattle Express merging with Trax. We used Seattle Express for both legs of our trip to and from Seattle-Tac airport and Pier 91. The drivers were polite, efficient, and well-informed. The shuttles were clean and well-kept. While the shuttle was punctual at the hotel, we experienced a nearly 45-minute wait when departing from Pier 91.

  Crappy crappy service

  I was very disappointed that our transport didn't arrive as planned, and there was zero communication from the company. I had to check on the status myself. It took 5 hours to receive a call, and when I mentioned we had made other arrangements, they just said, “Oops, our mistake!”

  The bus arrived significantly late, and instead of a small vehicle, it was a full-sized bus that made numerous stops before finally reaching the pier. Due to the delay, we ended up missing our scheduled lunch.

  Finding a bus to and from the airport was incredibly simple. We arranged for a ride from our hotel to the cruise terminal. When we departed the ship for the airport, the bus was punctual and ready for us. Thank you.

  Stressful

  We paid more than other shuttle services, yet the experience was terrible. Despite being the first stop, what was supposed to be a 45-minute transit turned into roughly 1.5 hours. We were the only customers, likely because others were anxious about missing their cruise ship boarding. I want to be understanding, but this was simply unacceptable.

  Big Al turned the bus ride into an exceptional experience. His vibrant personality shone throughout the journey, and his knowledge of the route was impressive. He lightened the mood with his humor, making everyone feel at ease. He truly has the ideal temperament for this role. Excellent job!

  Late bus, but otherwise OK.

  The bus was late, arriving at 10:18 instead of the scheduled 10:00. When I attempted to reach customer service for updates, the chat was slow, and the phone number went unanswered. By the time I connected with the chat, they had incorrect booking details. Although the bus eventually arrived, I realized that for just a few dollars more, taking an Uber would be a better option next time. The bus can start 15 minutes early, but due to circuiting around various hotels, it can also arrive up to 30 minutes late, depending on pickups.
