Reviews
From the very beginning, the experience was incredible. John was courteous, knowledgeable, and humorous, providing a great mix of commentary and relaxation. The views were stunning, and he made sure we didn't miss any highlights of Mount Rainier. With beautiful weather, we highly recommend this tour to everyone. Thank you, John!
Incredible experience! The communication with the team was excellent, making everything smooth and enjoyable.
Andreas is an outstanding guide, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him on this trip. His knowledge, energy, and engagement made the experience truly memorable. He provides clear explanations and thoughtful insights, while also including many chances for photo opportunities. He manages restroom breaks effectively and keeps the tour well-organized and punctual. I strongly recommend this experience to all.
Mark was an exceptional tour guide who was both knowledgeable and incredibly fun. He kept everyone in the group engaged throughout the experience. It was a beautiful and enjoyable adventure filled with many picturesque moments. Make sure to wear water-resistant hiking shoes.
Excellent tour overall. Mark was fantastic, and our time at the national park was enjoyable. The drive and the stops along the way added to the fun experience.
Ken was both knowledgeable and personable, making the experience truly memorable.
This tour was both fun and thrilling. Our guide, Ken, shared intriguing stories about Seattle and Mount Rainier, along with details about the local flora and fauna. He presented various activity options, from easy strolls to challenging hikes. At Mount Rainier, we could choose between snowshoes and crampons for walking on the snow, and I selected crampons. Choosing them was a great decision since they helped prevent any slips, allowing me to fully appreciate the stunning views. The tour also included additional hiking opportunities, which was one of the main reasons we selected it. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a unique and awe-inspiring adventure.
This was an outstanding small group tour! Erica's knowledge was impressive. I would absolutely choose this tour again. Although clouds obscured Mt. Rainier, we still enjoyed the snow and many other stunning locations.
The service from Tours Northwest was extremely disappointing. They changed our booking date to May 15 without any notice, right before our flight from Florida to Seattle. We had planned our entire trip around the Mt. Rainier tour, even booking an extra hotel night for it. We arrived at the meeting point early but waited without any communication for 15 minutes before contacting them. When I spoke to them, they implied it was my mistake. All notifications from the booking agent contained the correct date. I even requested they send the bus back for us, but they refused, despite being the ones who had the incorrect date. The tour is advertised as lasting “8-10 hours,” indicating there might have been some flexibility to accommodate us. I typically remain calm, but this situation could have easily been resolved so we could join the tour.
We really enjoyed our experience with our guide John. His knowledge was impressive, and we got to see plenty of snow.
