We had an incredible adventure day at Mt Rainier. There were numerous ways to enjoy and experience this iconic location. The drive from Seattle showcased varied views as we approached our destination. We snowshoed to Myrtle Falls, used crampons on an icy trail to reach Narada Falls, and hiked to see ancient Douglas fir and Cedar trees. We discovered hidden gems along the way, with ample opportunities for photos. Our guide Susan was well-prepared and very knowledgeable.
Susan was a fantastic guide. Her enthusiasm for nature and in-depth knowledge of the area really stood out. We had a wonderful time.
Susan was a fantastic guide, offering great knowledge and being very accommodating to everyone involved.
The tour offered fantastic views and was highly informative. Susan was accommodating to those who needed to go at a slower pace and provided plenty of extra equipment and clothing to borrow. We experienced a lot and gained valuable knowledge about the park's history.
The experience was fantastic with breathtaking views. The hike was quite challenging, despite being labeled as easy to moderate, but the rewards made it worthwhile. I suggest bringing an extra pair of shoes or socks, as your footwear might get wet depending on the snow conditions.
Our guide had a great passion for and knowledge of Rainier and its surroundings, including botany. The snow trek was incredibly enjoyable, and we received snow shoes, crampons, and trekking poles.
This tour was fantastic. Susan proved to be an outstanding guide and driver. Although it was a long day, we managed to see all the key attractions of Mount Rainier National Park, and the mountain itself is truly magnificent.
The experience was truly incredible. The views were beyond my expectations. Susan was an exceptional guide who even picked me up since I was on her way, despite the meeting point being two hours from my stay. We took numerous pictures, and the weather was fantastic. Booking it last minute was no regret at all. I would definitely participate again.
The experience can be physically demanding, especially with varying weather and snow conditions. On our trip, it was the first warm day of the season, and we occasionally trudged through deep slushy snow. Nevertheless, our guide, Susan, assisted us greatly with the ascent and descent, providing poles, crampons, and snowshoes. We should have better prepared for the weather and brought extra sunscreen. Regardless of the challenges, having a picnic beneath the glacier was unforgettable.
This tour was truly incredible. A snowshoe hike in May through a winter wonderland was unforgettable. Though a few members of our group opted to turn back, the hike felt safe and was manageable for those in reasonable shape. We had a break to grab a picnic, which we enjoyed in the snow on the mountainside while sitting on bags in our regular attire. The highlights included beautiful stops in a forest and at a waterfall adorned with a rainbow. Overall, it was the ideal tour, and our guide Susan was excellent, even capturing photos to help us remember the day.
