• Begin your morning or evening tour at Mitzpe Ramon and travel along Road 40 into the crater's depths. Depart from the paved road and ascend via a 4×4 trail to the impressive observation point at Mt. Gvanim. From this vantage point, enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the crater showcasing its stunning colors and formations. Next, proceed on 4×4 trails towards Wadi Zochalim (reptiles valley) and cross over to Wadi Gvanim. You will stop beneath the Acacia trees to learn about the desert's plant life and wildlife. • Continue driving across the crater on the pipeline road, make a stop at Beerot campground for refreshments, and then visit one of the rehabilitated quarries. Finally, you will return to the highway and head back to Mitzpe Ramon.
