Lost Dutchman State Park
Scottsdale, USA

Lost Dutchman State Park is a vast expanse of desert landscape at the foot of the Superstition Mountains, covering over 3,000 acres with rugged terrain, saguaro cacti, and stunning vistas. Established in the 1970s, it is named after the legendary Dutchman gold mine, steeped in local folklore and mystery.
Visitors can explore a network of trails, with the Siphon Draw Trail leading to the summit of Flatiron for panoramic views. Cooler months from October to April provide the best hiking conditions, but watch for the heat in summer. The park is quite close to the town of Apache Junction, offering further outdoor pursuits.
