Our guide Marc greatly enhanced our experience. He was friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. We gained insights into both the history of San Francisco and the wine industry in Sonoma and Napa. The small family-owned wineries took the time to share their stories, which allowed us to appreciate their wines on a personal level—a contrast to our experiences at larger wineries. Also, we had a wonderful time connecting with fellow travelers on this enjoyable tour.
We enjoyed the wine tastings on the tour, but we were caught off guard when the driver dropped us at a bus stop on the highway. It was even more shocking when he came around to ask for a tip. If we hadn't been left there, we would have been more willing to tip, but the experience felt a bit intimidating, although we still gave him a decent amount.

The pickup process was smooth, and he provided fascinating historical insights while keeping the mood light with his humor. I enjoyed discovering the local wineries and their unique stories.
