Our kayaking tour today was fantastic, thanks to our guide Aaron. He shared his extensive knowledge and took us to a secluded beach filled with stunning seashells and crystal-clear water for swimming. He even searched the shoreline and found shark teeth for us.
The experience was both enjoyable and calming. During the tour, we visited Midnight Pass, where we had the opportunity to search for shells, which were plentiful, as well as some shark teeth.
Wildlife sightings can vary, but we spotted a dolphin, two osprey, and two bald eagles, though we didn’t see any manatees. It’s best to avoid windy days if you're inexperienced, as navigation was challenging for me given my limited experience. Nonetheless, we had a pleasant day on the water in 70-degree weather with my daughter. Be sure to bring bottled water, a towel, and a bag for collecting shells on the island where we stopped. We found several shark teeth and even saw a small shark about a foot long swimming in the shallows.
This guided tour of the mangroves and the “Hidden beach” accessible only by boat was fantastic. We enjoyed around 30 minutes at the beach, which was busy on Sunday but still beautiful, with plenty of shells. Matt was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this experience.

I enjoyed a fantastic weekend at this condo and would definitely return. The space is charming, well-designed, and felt clean and inviting as soon as I arrived. It had a pleasant aroma, and each room, especially the bathroom, was spotless, which I appreciated. The condo is thoughtfully equipped with everything needed, including towels, kitchen essentials, beach chairs, and beach towels. It was comfortably climate-controlled, featuring AC and ceiling fans. Smart TVs in the bedroom and living room provided easy access to popular streaming services like Netflix. I had restful sleep without disturbances from nearby units. Its location is superb. I booked an excursion just two minutes away, and the beach is roughly a two to three-minute drive, offering the ideal mix of convenience and relaxation. One of my favorite aspects was the outdoor area. The back patio and lovely dock overlooking the water create a tranquil and unique atmosphere, and adventurous guests could even swim right behind the condo. Lastly, the hosts were outstanding—very prompt in their responses, typically within 5 to 15 minutes. I have no complaints and highly recommend this place.
