This guided boat tour operates around the picturesque waters of Anna Maria Island, lasting approximately two hours. During the cruise, you’ll have the chance to spot dolphins and, depending on the season, manatees in their natural habitat. The tour also offers views of wading birds that frequent exposed grass flats at low tide.
The experience culminates with the sunset, as you take in the stunning reflections on the water as the sun descends beyond the horizon. Note that a minimum of six passengers is required for public tours to depart; if this number is not reached, you’ll have the option of rescheduling or receiving a full refund.

I really enjoyed the sunset cruise. It was both relaxing and fun, with some dolphins spotted along the way. You can bring your own drinks and snacks, plus they provide free water.
With two staff members available, one should handle check-ins while the other assists with seating at the right boat. If guests are expected 30 minutes early, they should be allowed to sit, especially the elderly. We arrived at 6:00 and joined the line for the wrong boat, doing our best to save spots for those who couldn't stand. When the other staff member arrived at departure time, it turned out everyone was queued at the incorrect boat. Those who came last were seated before us, the early arrivals, who had limited seat choices. This seems like an easy situation to improve: have one person manage check-ins while the other seats guests correctly.

Despite a bit of rain, it didn't overshadow our adventure. The staff patiently waited for the shower to pass before taking us out. We enjoyed an informative tour of fantastic sites.
