1Tour Itinerary 1️⃣ Lekuresi Castle Our first destination is the Lekuresi Castle, a striking fortress dating back to the 16th century. Built in a square shape with two round towers positioned diagonally, the castle offers panoramic views of Saranda, the Ionian Sea, and the nearby Greek island of Corfu. 2️⃣ The Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër) Next, we’ll visit the Blue Eye Spring, one of Albania’s most captivating natural wonders. The crystal-clear water bubbles up from deep within the earth, creating a mesmerizing deep blue “eye” surrounded by lush greenery. 3️⃣ Butrint National Park Our final stop is the Butrint National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that showcases layers of history from ancient civilizations. Here, you’ll explore: The Roman theatre The Temple of Asclepius The aqueduct The Byzantine church Strolling through the park feels like traveling through time — from the Hellenistic period to Roman and Byzantine eras — all set amidst tranquil natural scenery.
2Experience the best of southern Albania in one unforgettable day. This tour combines the natural beauty of the Blue Eye Spring, the charm of local wine tasting, and the magic of a sunset at Lekursi Castle overlooking the Ionian Sea. 1-Begin your journey with a visit to the legendary Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër). Marvel at the vivid blue waters bubbling from the earth in a lush forest setting. Learn about the spring’s mysterious depth and enjoy a peaceful walk through nature. 2-Wine Tasting Experience at Kantina Isak Discover Albania’s ancient wine-making heritage while sampling a selection of local wines and raki, paired with cheese, olives, and other regional delights. Meet the winemakers and learn about native grape varieties and rural traditions. 3-The last destination ,is Lekursi Castle, perched high above Saranda. Take in breathtaking views of the town, Ionian coastline, and Corfu Island as the sun sets in spectacular colors.
3The fascinating old centre of Gjirokaster is on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Largely medieval, with some lovely architecture to admire, reflecting the town’s wealthy past, it is built on a hill overlooking a valley and mountains. This interesting museum will give a good impression of the way of living in Albania during the Ottoman period. On our way back to Saranda, we will pass from the national park Syri I Kalter. In this peaceful forest, we will walk (15 min) to the crystal clear spring called Blue Eye, where 900 m3 water per minute is coming from deep down the earth. If time permits, there will be a short coffee break at the restaurant next to the fast streaming river in the park, before heading back to the port of Saranda.
4Mussel tour is a unique local experience where you will meet our Queen, the famous blue mussel of Butrint lake. The journey will start on a traditional boat, first, stop at mussel farms. The process of mussel cultivation will be explained and we will take some fresh mussels directly from the farm, next stop will be at the restaurant but before being there a little involvement in the separation process will. Each of us will wear gloves and start to separate the Queens. Work, sailing, and meditation for 15 min will be optional for each guest. After that, sail to another part of the National Park of Butrint, a local and idyllic restaurant, there will cook together two kinds of mussel dishes dressed in olive oil, lemon, and parsley accompanied with local white wine, fresh vegetables, homemade bread, and water for each will complete the table. After enjoying the taste of our land and sharing wonderful stories relaxing sailing back will be through watching the sunset.

9The Ancient City of Butrint, an archeological site in Vlorë County, Albania, 14 kilometres in the south of Sarandë. Located on a hill overlooking the Vivari Channel and part of the Butrint National Park. The city is considered as one of the most important archaeological sites in Albania. On the strength of the immense wealth of cultural, historical and natural value with a considerable history, Butrint was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992 and further a National Park in 2000. Duration 2-3 hours.
