We had a fantastic day visiting three wineries in Napa with our guide, Cali from Napa Native, who was both knowledgeable and entertaining. Starting from San Francisco, we drove through Sonoma and made our first stop at Cuvaison, where we enjoyed a private experience with wonderful wines thanks to our great hostess, Kelly. Next, we headed to Porter, a small producer specializing in Cabernets and blends, where Luis hosted us for an excellent tasting. After lunch in downtown Napa, we concluded our tour at Matthaisson with a remarkable tasting led by a passionate and well-informed host. Cali provided us with valuable insights about the region, the wineries, and grape varietals to enhance flavor and quality. We would highly recommend Cali for anyone’s next visit. Tyler and Krystal were instrumental in crafting our itinerary, and Tyler offered a warm welcome at their ranch while sharing some of their delightful wines. Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we can't praise it highly enough.
Tyler is an exceptional guide you definitely want for your tour. He has a friendly demeanor, is full of knowledge about the Napa area, and is an overall great person to spend time with. The wineries he selected for our tour were all fantastic, including Reverie II, Saddleback, James Cole, Tres Sabores, Pine Ridge, Battuello, and Ashes & Diamonds. He also made excellent food recommendations, and the catered lunch was delicious. Don't miss out on asking about the cookies. Before this trip, I wasn't particularly interested in wine, but that has completely changed now, and I feel like I'm hooked for life. Tyler's plans for Napa Native promise to yield amazing results, just like the vineyards we explored under his expert guidance. With our group of six, the comfortable and efficient transportation enhanced our experience immensely, and Napa Native met all our needs. He facilitated our winery communications, kept us on track without hurrying us, and suggested an ideal lunch spot at Sunshine Market, which we now consider essential. By the end of the day, he felt like one of us. The Napa Native team handled our winery reservations or advised us on the best way to book them, making the planning process stress-free. Their local knowledge and connections ensured everything went smoothly, and we felt like we had an insider with us at all times. Considering the level of service provided, the pricing was very reasonable, especially when shared among the group. We felt well taken care of, allowing us to relax and enjoy the wine, scenery, and each other's company. Tyler was an incredible guide. We enjoyed a light biking tour, exploring charming local vineyards that offered rich flavors, experiences, and cherished memories. A memorable moment was our lunch at Napa Native Vineyard, where we savored delicious food paired with wonderful wines, all filled with laughter and connection. This bike tour truly showcased the commitment of smaller wineries to their craft and the Napa Valley region. As a group of six, this experience stood out as the best part of our four-day visit to Napa.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Napa Native and Tyler, who guided us through local vineyards to discover the finest wines of Napa. The experience felt very tailored to our group of eight friends from university. We traveled in a comfortable, clean van, played our own music, and learned about wine and the region. Tyler arranged excellent vineyard tours, and our guides there were extremely knowledgeable. Napa Native also assisted us with shipping our wines and provided great recommendations for local dining and sightseeing. We highly suggest visiting Napa Native as well, as we had some of our favorite tastings and shared plenty of laughs there. It's the best company to explore the area.
