My experience was terrible. I booked a 6-hour Napa Valley winery tour with a limousine, but Rodney, the contracted driver, never arrived. My coworkers flew in from afar on August 16th, and when we contacted Rodney, he claimed he hadn’t received confirmation from Viator. When we reached out to customer service, Kim assured us that confirmation had been sent. It’s unclear who is to blame, but we were left in a frustrating situation. Viator was unable to arrange a new driver or alternative tours for us. I would not recommend their services; this was a nightmare.
The experience was decent overall. Some road closures caused delays, impacting our time and resulting in one of the tastings being canceled, so we only got to enjoy one. F.A. was an excellent driver, ensuring our safety. I do wish the company had prior knowledge of the closures. Despite the setbacks, we made the most of what we could, and I would recommend transportation for anyone traveling to Napa from San Francisco or Oakland.
