Our 5-night experience at this lovely and cozy guesthouse nestled in the Santa Monica mountains was fantastic, yet conveniently near all local attractions. Fari, our host, anticipated every need, ensuring our stay was warm, comfortable, and memorable. This place truly is a gem.
The trolley ride was quite enjoyable and full of interesting information. The driver was articulate and had a wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend this experience. My only suggestion is to have a sign at the pickup area, as we were the first group and faced some confusion about the location. There was a sign when we came back, though.
I visited Santa Barbara for a weekend with my grandma so she could enjoy the lovely town. We arrived for the 10am trolley about 15 minutes early, as instructed. The driver approached the stop but only revealed the exact location once he arrived; it would be helpful if the company displayed a clear sign for everyone. Our trolley had plenty of space, and Rusty, our driver, provided an excellent experience. His stops and insights clearly showed his passion for Santa Barbara, being a local himself. Despite having been to the city many times, this was my first time on the trolley, and I may do it again, even though it was overcast that day. Thank you, Rusty, for your wonderful hospitality!
Avoid bringing children under the age of 5 with this driver, as he is unable to handle noise from kids. He reprimanded families, labeling them disrespectful, which sparked a disagreement with an older woman. The noise from the children wasn't a problem; we could hear him clearly. After the mission, we chose to leave the tour early and walk back. I expected to visit historical sites in Santa Barbara instead of traveling to Montecito to chat about Harry, Meghan, and Katy Perry.
