The Funk Zone was everything we expected, and this tour allowed us to explore it fully. We enjoyed delicious food and wine while learning about the area's transformation. We found places to revisit later as well. The pace was comfortable and very enjoyable. Nathan was an exceptional guide who brought a lot of fun to the experience. I highly recommend this tour for newcomers.
If you’re in the Funk Zone, this tour is a must-do. We enjoyed strolling between stops, soaking in the waterfront vibe, and sampling fantastic food and wine from Santa Barbara. The tour was perfectly organized and easygoing. We would definitely go on this tour again.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The walk was straightforward, the guide kept us engaged, and it was a delightful way to discover the Funk Zone together. Everyone appreciated learning about the area and finding new locations. It was a laid-back, memorable experience for us all.
Our family had a wonderful experience on the Funk Zone tour. It was a relaxed and enjoyable means of discovering the area. The guide was engaging, and the walk was easy to handle. It was both fun and informative without feeling too intense.
This tour, which takes place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, was so enjoyable that we ended up staying longer. Each stop felt like a delightful discovery. We started with delicious Mahi Mahi tacos and Chardonnay in the peaceful courtyard of Fox Wine Co. The Smash Burger taco at Validation Ale was a surprising flavor explosion that complemented their beer flight beautifully. We concluded with an amazing Sushi Sandwich and Dole Whip at the new Happy Cat Eats.
I brought my team on a food tour in the funk zone, and it was the best experience we've had so far. We always choose a different activity each year, and this one served as a fantastic icebreaker. Highly recommend.
We had a fantastic team outing with 15 of us traveling from Long Beach. Our three tour guides ensured everything went seamlessly, and we appreciated wearing the headsets. We learned a lot about Santa Barbara's history, and the Mexican food, including tacos and drinks, was excellent.
Our team of 15 participated in a food tour in the Funk Zone and it was an incredible experience. We visited several trendy food spots while learning about the history of this unique 13-block area near the ocean. Our guide Maddie was outstanding, and the headphones allowed us to clearly hear her insightful commentary. It was a great opportunity to explore and connect with each other at five different locations. I highly recommend this activity.
I've taken a tour with the SBTT company three times now, and each experience has been enjoyable. When friends visit, I always take them on a tour since it’s a fun way to eat out. This time, I opted for the tour in the Funk Zone, and it certainly met my expectations. We mingled with fellow participants as we strolled through the area, learning about the fascinating history of this trendy part of Santa Barbara. Our guide, Maddy, was excellent, and the provided earphones made it easy to hear her even from a distance. We sampled a variety of foods and drinks. Despite living in SB for years, these tours always reveal something new about my beloved town. It’s definitely an experience worth sharing with friends or colleagues.
During our brief 24-hour visit, we sought a tour that would offer us a genuine experience of Santa Barbara, and this one exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Courtney, possessed extensive knowledge of the area and led us to excellent spots for a diverse range of fantastic local food and drinks. Everything we tasted was delightful, and the addition of murals and local art made it even better. I strongly suggest this tour.
