I was promised an additional hour free with my bike rental, but when I returned it, I was still charged for that hour. The staff explained that the free hour only applies if you ride exactly a full extra hour, without going even a few minutes under or over. This was never communicated beforehand, and it felt misleading and disappointing, especially since I returned the bike within the promised time frame. I won't rent here again unless they clarify their policies.
Riding around town on an e-bike was enjoyable. While the bike was slightly worn, it still performed well, and I found the throttle essential for tackling the hills on Shoreline Drive. The basket proved useful as well. The attendant was very helpful in explaining the bike's features. However, I encountered an issue with my booking through Trip Advisor for a half-day that started at 10 a.m.; the shop didn't open until that time, so we had to wait a bit. Additionally, the attendant couldn't locate our reservation in their system and had to call the main store for confirmation, which took some time. Ultimately, we had a great time, but I wish the shop had been better organized.
