However, we were disappointed that there was no winery tour as advertised; instead, we visited two tasting rooms in town and drove to a lookout for photos. We should have been informed that the actual winery was closed for the holiday when we made the booking. While we had a good time overall, the description was misleading. At the first tasting, we were initially told it wasn't included and had to pay until I showed our ticket, after which they agreed to cover it. Without the tasting, the price felt excessive for just a 15 to 20-minute drive in town. Also, 2.5 hours wouldn't have sufficed for everything mentioned in the ticket. The photos of the sidecar in a vineyard do not accurately reflect what is offered. We might consider doing it again if it truly matched the online description.
Our driver was excellent—very pleasant and accommodating when it came to taking photos of us, deserving a full 5/5 stars. He did drive a bit fast, but it was manageable. However, I do have a concern regarding the tour's description, which mentioned that alcoholic beverages and individual wine tastings were included. This was misleading, as it seemed like the cost of the sidecar trip was supposed to cover the tastings. We ended up paying $330 for the tour and an additional $240 at two wineries, discovering we needed to settle the payments at each location after we had ordered. While I should have inferred there would be extra charges, the listing led us to believe it was all-inclusive, so I would rate that aspect a 1/5 for clarity.
The experience was fantastic, and Rod, our tour guide, was lovely. However, I was disappointed that the tickets only covered 2 wine tastings instead of the 3 that were advertised and paid for. There was also some confusion about who was responsible for paying for the tastings, but Rod managed to resolve that after a while. Despite these issues, the bike tour around Santa Barbara was enjoyable. It’s important to check your booking details carefully.

He then altered the itinerary and took us along the scenic Gibraltar Road, offering breathtaking views of Santa Barbara, the ocean, and the Los Padres mountain range. What began as a letdown transformed into an extraordinary experience, all thanks to Rod's commitment to making our day enjoyable. Thank you, Rod.
