Our teenage daughters participated in a beginner rock climbing tour and it was truly beautiful. The guide reached out the day before to confirm the meeting point, which was very helpful. Upon arrival, we hiked a little uphill to the climbing site where everything was prepped. Zac, our guide, was incredibly supportive, patient, and positive. The girls felt secure and welcomed. They tackled various climbing routes, and Zac ensured they had an exceptional experience. It was a fantastic tour with an outstanding guide.
My husband and I participated in the rock climbing session led by Cameron and Rilen. Initially, we felt a bit anxious about it, not knowing what to expect. Cameron’s excellent teaching skills made us feel at ease. Adventure Terra offers a photography option, and Rilen not only contributed to the fun with our group but also took fantastic photos. If you're considering hiring a photographer, I highly recommend it; we cherish those pictures as proof for our kids that we weren't always dull. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and intend to return for tree climbing.
I cannot say enough positive things about Leo from Adventure Terra. He instilled both confidence and trust in my son and me. Leo's calm and encouraging demeanor made the lesson enjoyable. He covered all aspects of climbing, from gear management to safety checks. During a practice safety check, my son caught Leo "forgetting" to secure his carabiner, which was a great learning moment. Leo also taught my son how to secure himself to a tree, and my son had the opportunity to belay him. Leo even demonstrated a controlled fall so my son could understand the gear better, which helped boost his confidence. My 10-year-old had a fantastic time. Thank you, Leo and Adventure Terra!
