I had an excellent whale-watching experience with Jarrett and Brooke. We encountered a lot of wildlife, including bald eagles, sheep, sea lions, and spent about an hour observing eight killer whales. Jarrett expertly maneuvered the boat for optimal viewing, while Brooke shared her impressive knowledge about the wildlife, making the trip enjoyable for everyone.
Captain Chaz and Corrina were incredibly friendly and had a deep understanding of the marine life and the islands near Orcas Island. We had a fantastic time observing two male orcas swimming, with plenty of chances to take pictures.
This excursion ranks among the best we've experienced. We spotted Orcas! The captain and mate demonstrated great knowledge, sharing valuable insights about the local wildlife and landscape. I highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Orcas Island.
This was an incredible experience! We spotted seals, sea lions, orcas, bald eagles, and more. The guides were not only friendly but also very knowledgeable. It felt like being part of a live nature documentary. Be sure to coordinate your plans with the ferry schedules to fully enjoy the adventure.
The trip was fantastic, largely due to the crew's expertise and the interesting facts they shared. Even though it was still somewhat off-season, we were fortunate enough to spot two humpback whales and a pod of orcas. We brought our own sandwiches and snacks to enjoy during the ride. It’s a good idea to dress in layers, as the wind can get quite cold.
Our naturalist, Sam, was incredible and highly knowledgeable. My daughter, who is a huge fan of orcas, appreciated that he came over several times to engage with her and answer her questions. We were fortunate to see three whales this trip. We are definitely planning to return in the summer to see more, thanks to Sam’s enthusiasm. My daughter is determined to make that happen. Beyond the whales, we also encountered sea lions, bald eagles, harbor porpoises, and seals. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The tour ended up being a bit longer than anticipated, but it was definitely worth it.
An ideal solo adventure! I got to see seals, sea lions, and a lot of orcas! The crew was excellent, and we were blessed with fantastic weather as well.
Celebrating my 50th birthday on the water with my mom was already meaningful, but this whale watching tour elevated the experience. The stunning views from the start—calm waters, mountainous landscapes, and refreshing ocean air—were both serene and thrilling, creating an atmosphere where something extraordinary felt imminent, which it turned out to be. We experienced nature up close, witnessing an actual seal hunt unfold before us, reminiscent of a National Geographic scene, complemented by a bald eagle swooping down to claim its prize. It was one of those moments you'd find yourself replaying in your mind. The crew was not only knowledgeable but also engaging and enthusiastic—they ensured everyone had a chance to experience everything while providing clear explanations without overwhelming us. If you're considering a whale watching tour, go for it. Bringing a special someone along makes it even better. This has truly become a core memory for me.
What an incredible experience! It was engaging and filled with valuable information. We encountered plenty of wildlife, and the highlight was definitely seeing the Orcas. We even spotted a grey whale as a nice surprise. I would highly recommend this and would love to do it again.
The crew was fantastic today. I’ll definitely choose them again for my next booking.
