Our three-hour tour with Benning was incredible. We visited the Lime Kiln lighthouse and spotted bald eagles, harbor seals, and even a river otter. The experience was beautiful and incredibly relaxing. Benning was kind, knowledgeable, and his adventurous spirit was truly appreciated.
This was a fantastic experience. Our guide Owen was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and the surroundings. It’s not a simple walk; the currents are quite strong throughout. Although my wife and I have kayaked before, we had never done it in the ocean, and we were exhausted by the end of the 3-hour tour.
This trip was fantastic as it was part of a multi-day adventure with a biking tour group. Our guides, Ryan and Noah, were professional, knowledgeable, and supportive of guests at all skill levels, making the afternoon enjoyable. The kayaks were well-equipped, and both guides took the time to thoroughly explain safety and usage. They also shared fascinating stories about the region's history and culture. It was evident they were passionate about their work on the water and enjoyed educating others about the unique marine life. This excursion is essential if you are in the area.
Our day-long kayak tour along the Lime Kiln coastline was fantastic. Despite the fog and light rain, we felt warm and dry in our kayaks. We spotted many bald eagles and harbor seals. Ryan, our guide, provided great insights into the shore ecosystem, and we enjoyed a delicious packed lunch along with clear instructions since it was our first sea kayaking experience. We would happily book this tour again.
This was an ideal way to explore the San Juan Islands. Each day we paddled between 6 and 10 miles, except for our rest day on Wednesday. We began in Friday Harbour, visiting Lopez and Orcas islands. Mornings kicked off with a delicious breakfast at our inn before hitting the water around 9am. During our paddling, we encountered seals, eagles, jellyfish, and various wildlife. Lunches consisted of sandwiches or a charcuterie board paired with wine and dessert. After a few more hours of paddling, we reached our destination each day. The inns we stayed at were wonderful, comfortable, and provided private bathrooms with no camping involved. Dinners were held at upscale restaurants, complete with wine, except for one. Our guides, Cole and Owen, were delightful, professional, and knowledgeable. On our rest day, we hiked Mt Constitution on Orcas Island and unwound at the inn. We even enjoyed a bioluminescence kayaking experience that night. Overall, it was a top-notch, enjoyable, and educational adventure with stunning views from the water. My wife and I wouldn't hesitate to do this again.
Noah, Maddie, and Ryan led our group on a kayak tour, and it was an outstanding experience. They provided excellent instructions and ensured everyone felt at ease before we began. I wholeheartedly recommend these guides and the company to anyone interested in a fantastic kayak tour.
I participated in the full-day trip to Lime Kiln, and Ryan turned out to be an excellent guide. As a first-time sea kayaker, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We encountered harbor seals and ochre sea stars along the way. I highly recommend this company for kayaking in the San Juans.
Spending the day kayaking on the island was fantastic! Shannon, our guide, showcased professionalism and extensive knowledge about the local waters. While the orcas eluded us, we enjoyed sightings of porpoises, bald eagles, a blue heron, and some harbor seals. I highly recommend the full-day guided tour on a warm summer day.
This trip truly surpassed what I expected. It was demanding but the food was outstanding and the group was fantastic. The stunning beauty of the area was remarkable, and our guide Noah was knowledgeable about the history, conditions, and ideal camping spots. Traveling from Boston to the Seattle region was beyond what I imagined.
We had a fantastic time on a 3-hour guided kayak tour with Noah and Cooper, complete with a delicious picnic lunch. The guides were friendly, professional, and helpful. Our tour was organized through Bicycle Adventures, with calm waters along the shoreline and skilled guides keeping us safe. Overall, it was a great experience; however, I did encounter a broken seat in the front of the pink kayak, which I only realized at lunch. I was informed that the seat needed repair or replacement.
