Chaz, Ruby, and Elliot made for an excellent team. Their enthusiasm was genuinely infectious, adding a special touch to the experience. We spotted a humpback whale, a porpoise, numerous seals and sea lions, along with two pods of orcas. Although the day was long and exhausting, it was absolutely worthwhile. I highly suggest dressing warmly if you visit during the colder months.
Chaz was an excellent captain, and his excitement to locate the orcas was infectious. My adult daughter and I had a fantastic time and spotted numerous orcas. The rainy weather didn't spoil our enjoyment. While the indoor option on the boat was appreciated, we mostly relished being outside in the elements.
Seeing the Orca whales was incredible; the guides were both friendly and knowledgeable. They provided fascinating explanations that made the experience even more engaging. I highly recommend this activity.
I believed I had reserved this tour from Anacortes as stated. While there is a service from Anacortes, the entire crew had been moved elsewhere. We had to take a ferry to Orcas Island, resulting in a long and unexpectedly expensive day.
This was a fantastic chance to observe several pods of transient whales. Sheila and Phil were excellent guides, sharing extensive knowledge about the region and orcas. They demonstrated a strong commitment to the environment by turning back to retrieve a balloon from the water.
It was an outstanding experience. We had the chance to see Orca whales, and Kate, our naturalist, along with Jim, the captain, made the trip enjoyable, informative, and safe. Both were very professional and accommodating. I strongly recommend this whale watching tour.
This was the best whale watching experience I have ever had. Chaz and Genny were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We had a blast seeing sea lions, humpback whales, various birds, and harbor porpoises. I highly recommend this trip, and I appreciated the choice of seating upstairs or downstairs.
The scenery was stunning. Orcas Island is truly lovely. We set out from Seattle and spent the entire day away. It was further than we expected, but it was worthwhile despite being a long day. We even spotted two humpback whales, which was a great goal accomplished.
The sights were stunning, and the crew was excellent. Shelia was accompanied by a friendly younger trainee. The water was peaceful, and we spotted pods of orcas, though you can't get too close. Bring good binoculars or a zoom camera. I would definitely do this again.
The experience was fantastic, as we spotted a pod of four orcas, including a one-month-old, about 35 minutes from the marina. The captains were seasoned and knowledgeable, adhering to all guidelines to protect the natural habitat. Their passion for their work was evident in their smiles while we observed the orcas swimming, playing, and feeding.
