Seven days visiting Utah's five national parks and notable sights, including a free day in Moab for activities like whitewater rafting or horseback riding.
This guided small group tour begins and ends in Salt Lake City, taking you through Utah's five national parks: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef. Over the course of a week, you'll also explore four state parks and other iconic spots like Horseshoe Bend and the Four Corners Monument.
A standout feature of the trip is a dedicated day in Moab, where you can select from various activities that include whitewater rafting or horseback riding. The tour operator offers flexibility, ensuring that tours can operate with just two participants booking together. Pack for a variety of outdoor settings, and be prepared for changing weather conditions while you take in the spectacular Western landscapes.

We initially planned a Tauck trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons but ended up on a waitlist that never materialized. While searching online, we came across Utah Luxury Tours, which offered appealing small group tours. After reading all the excellent reviews, we decided to take a chance and contact them. Misty greeted me warmly, addressing all my questions and concerns. We settled on a tour of the big five parks and made our booking, despite never having used an unverified tour company before. This decision turned out to be immensely rewarding, as the trip exceeded our expectations. The fellow travelers were wonderful, and our guide, Danial, was the most accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful guide we've ever encountered. The scenery at the five Utah parks was extraordinarily diverse and breathtaking; by the time we reached the second park, I had run out of superlatives. Danial enriched our experience by sharing insights about the landscape, geology, modern history, and the ancient inhabitants' culture. He even took us to see pictographs estimated to be up to 6,000 years old and found us enjoyable lunch spots. At Zion National Park, as we wrapped up the tour, Danial led us on a short trek down a dry riverbed to view pictographs that aren't mentioned in any guidebook. It was an incredible way to conclude a fantastic tour with Utah Luxury Tours. Upon returning, I checked Tauck's itinerary covering the same parks, which lacked the depth Danial provided and seemed rather dull in comparison. For any future tours in the West, we will definitely choose Utah Luxury Tours.
This trip was fantastic. Every aspect exceeded my expectations. Our guide Rax was incredibly knowledgeable, taking us to hidden spots you wouldn't discover on your own. I highly recommend this tour for its excellent value and the chance to relax and take in the scenery.
Breathtaking is the perfect word to describe our experience! In January, I contacted Utah Scenic Tours and spoke with Tom Wagner, who became our tour guide. He truly has found his calling. We had the vacation of a lifetime, exploring stunning hidden gems in Utah with Tom leading the way. We visited spots we never would have encountered without him. By the end of our trip, he felt like a part of our family rather than just a guide. We wholeheartedly recommend both the trip and Tom, giving him a perfect score of 10 out of 10. His knowledge and authenticity made our vacation unforgettable.
Every National Park we visited had its own distinct beauty. Arches is definitely a highlight, while Goblin Valley feels like another world. Lower Antelope Canyon was truly enchanting. However, the Grand Staircase Escalante would have been exceptional if "The Wave" were more accessible. Without that guarantee, I would prefer to spend that time exploring more of Zion National Park, which we felt was rushed. Arriving early for parking is essential, and I recommend visiting Bryce and Zion on separate days, ideally dedicating at least one full day to Bryce for proper hiking and two days for Zion. While some might find the prehistoric museum interesting, I believe more time could be used at larger sites like Arches, which deserves more exploration. Ultimately, I rated this experience three stars because, while there's so much to see, our limited time at Zion and my incomplete exploration of the Grand Staircase Escalante left me wanting more. I learned that to improve chances for "The Wave," everyone has to enter the lottery. The goal was to see and learn, but I only scratched the surface; I suppose that’s where Google is helpful.
Ken was truly fantastic! He anticipated every need and went above and beyond. He's an exceptional guide and person. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm with us; it was greatly appreciated.
The itinerary for the Utah Mighty Five was incredibly fulfilling during our 7-day journey. Our guide and driver were knowledgeable, polite, and very accommodating, enhancing our travel experience. This is my third time using this service, and I am completely satisfied.
The Utah Mighty Five tour exceeded our expectations. Each national park offered its unique beauty, and we even visited a few state parks. Our highlight was witnessing the sunrise at Arches, despite the early rise. Don't miss the add-on excursion to Antelope Canyon; it's truly indescribable. We were fortunate to have Kenny as our guide, who took on the roles of driver, photographer, and more. He was friendly, attentive to our needs, flexible, and incredibly knowledgeable, answering nearly all our questions. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Since it was only the three of us, a smaller vehicle sufficed, but the SUV felt quite cramped once we loaded all the luggage. Aside from that, the tour was fantastic.
