Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City — view 2
Clark Planetarium features a glass-and-metal façade and houses a range of exhibits focused on space science and astronomy, making it one of the key attractions in Salt Lake City. Opened in the early 2000s, it offers an immersive experience that includes a digital dome theater and interactive displays designed to engage visitors of all ages. Plan to spend a couple of hours here, especially if you wish to catch a show at the 3D IMAX theatre. The planetarium is located in the Gateway area, a short walk from the Natural History Museum of Utah, and the nearby shops and restaurants make for a pleasant visit afterward.

Flexible bus tour around Salt Lake City — explore landmarks with onboard narration, hop off and on as you choose, with real-time tracking available.

I participated in the tour on a Sunday, but many of the attractions were closed. Even if I wanted to stop at one, I would have to wait 90 minutes for the bus to return instead of the advertised 45 minutes. Consequently, no one else got off at any stops. I had intended to join on Saturday, but due to street closures, I was rescheduled to Sunday, unaware that most places would be closed.Evonne_B on the Salt Lake City hop-on, hop-off bus tour tour
