No guide arrived for the tour. I called about 10 minutes after it was supposed to start and was informed there was a booking problem. Although I was charged and promised a refund, I haven't received it yet and plan to dispute the charge with my credit card.

As a devoted listener of Salem: The Podcast, I was thrilled to finally take part in the Salem Uncovered Tour, and it truly surpassed my hopes. Upon arrival, I met Tim, Jeffrey's brother. Although I was initially disappointed that Jeffrey wasn't my guide, Tim assured me he’d try to facilitate a meeting. Throughout the tour, Tim displayed remarkable knowledge and kept us engaged with intriguing stories from Salem's past. During our walk, we unexpectedly encountered Jeffrey, and Tim made sure to turn us around so I could meet him and ask a question. It was an exciting moment, and I even got a quick photo with him. Both Tim and Jeffrey went above and beyond to make this experience unforgettable. My two friends, who are not yet podcast fans, enjoyed the tour so much they declared it their favorite part of our trip and now want to start listening to Salem: The Podcast. I highly recommend this tour. It’s a must-see for anyone interested in Salem’s darker history, whether or not you’re a podcast fan.

I enjoyed learning about the authentic history of Salem, but it was disappointing that the tour guide treated those unaware of certain facts as if they were foolish, particularly regarding the witchcraft accusations leading to hanging rather than burning. The tour's aim was to educate, and I felt belittled. The guide also seemed unhappy in his role, frequently commenting to other guides about how "it's almost over." I understand that hosting tours during the holidays can be exhausting, but this behavior is not what one expects from a guide.
