  Walking Tour Salamanca

  Mark was an incredibly knowledgeable guide who shared a wealth of information. Unlike other walking tours we observed, which had large, unhappy groups, ours was different. After the tour, we could explore Salamanca at our own pace. This experience was a great value for the money. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour with such a friendly guide.   Very knowledge guide, good company and entertaining

  Being part of a small group was fantastic, allowing us to ask many questions. Mark, our guide, was highly knowledgeable and connected our inquiries to our personal experiences. The tour felt more like an engaging conversation with a friend than a typical guidebook lecture. I learned a great deal about Salamanca and truly enjoyed the experience.

  I was the only participant, which allowed me to enjoy a fantastic private tour. Mark was an outstanding guide, providing a wealth of information and demonstrating a deep knowledge of Salamanca's history, including the University and its historic surroundings.

  Definitely well worth it

  We had a great time exploring the outskirts of the old town, diving into the history and discovering lesser-known sites. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this experience.

  Tour needs more structure and profoundness

  I regret giving a 2-star rating, Mark, but I feel the tour lacked structure and depth. You clearly have extensive knowledge about Salamanca and its history, yet the experience felt like simply strolling past buildings while listening to anecdotes. After two hours, I still don't grasp Salamanca's history well. I believe starting with a brief overview of the city's history would provide a stronger context for discussing the buildings. I hope this feedback helps enhance your tour, and I apologize for not sharing my thoughts during the tour itself, but a generic 5-star review didn’t seem right.

  Lacked pace and depth

  The experience was overpriced for what it offered. It needed to be more engaging, as the two and a half hours felt excessive when one hour would suffice. Mark, our guide, was friendly, but a more organized tour with a proper introduction to the sights would have enhanced the overall experience. It came across as more of a casual stroll and conversation. Nonetheless, it did help us figure out how to plan the remainder of our visit.
