The tour of the university was quite engaging. Our guide did an excellent job despite the cold and rainy conditions. We were pressed for time due to a train schedule and felt that the tour spent more time in Plaza Mayor than necessary. Although we mentioned at the start that we were fine not visiting the cathedrals extensively, we ended up spending the majority of the time in Plaza Mayor and the University. We only had a brief stop at one house with shell-covered walls, and no opportunity to see the cathedrals beyond a quick look at one wall. Improved time management across the three-hour tour would have greatly enhanced the experience.
