Alexia was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and captivating. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, and even my brother, who has lived in Spain for more than 50 years, was impressed by the wealth of details she shared.
She was incredible and comes highly recommended. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to understand. We had a lot of fun with her.
This was an outstanding tour. Alexia shared captivating insights about the city's history. Exploring the cathedrals and the University felt like stepping into the past, making it a visit well worth the time. She handled our many questions effortlessly, making this tour essential for anyone visiting this wonderful city.
Our tour in Salamanca was delightful. Alexia, our guide, was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. She provided fascinating historical insights and kept the group engaged throughout. Her patience and kindness towards the kids enhanced the experience for all.
We purchased tickets that included an audio guide, and while things started off well, a guide with a group came behind us and was extremely loud, practically shouting, which disrupted the experience for everyone around, even those on a lower floor. He used a microphone that was clearly unnecessary. In contrast, another group had a guide who communicated with their visitors quietly and respectfully. What frustrated me the most was that when I voiced my concerns at the exit, the staff ignored me as they were preoccupied with ticket sales. My suggestion is that in the future, they should possibly group the loud guide's tourists together, as their behavior deserves to be contained, but with some distance to protect our ears.
This walking tour provided an excellent introduction to the stunning golden city of Salamanca. Meeting Alexia at our hotel was a delightful surprise. As a Spanish native with experience living in various cities, she excels as a licensed, engaging, and knowledgeable guide. We particularly enjoyed exploring the cathedrals, the history of the University, and seeing several rooms that showcased its traditions. Highly recommended.
