This was an enjoyable experience. While it focused more on the history of Sacramento's buildings rather than ghost hunting, it wasn't scary. Ethan was an excellent and engaging guide, full of enthusiasm and humor. Since this is entirely outdoors, be sure to bring a sweater, as temperatures can drop significantly after sunset in Sacramento.
I wasn't sure how a walking tour could bring out Sacramento's history intertwined with its paranormal events, but our guide did an excellent job. I'll have a completely different perspective on Old Sacramento now.
Ethan was excellent. He provided a captivating mix of historical facts and ghost stories that held our attention for the entire hour, adding some humor along the way. An outstanding tour experience!

I couldn't find the tour's timing listed anywhere, which left me confused. I searched through the itinerary and other sections, but it doesn't specify whether it's during the day or night, making it hard to plan accordingly.
I had an amazing experience on the Shadows & Scandals Ghost Tour. From beginning to end, it balanced history, suspense, and spooky enjoyment perfectly. Our guide was very knowledgeable, skillfully bringing Sacramento's haunted history to life with captivating stories and just the right touch of eerie suspense. The walking route through Old Town was picturesque and charming, with every stop featuring its own intriguing tale that kept us engaged. This tour is a must-do for history lovers, ghost fans, or anyone seeking an entertaining evening. I highly recommend it to visitors of Sacramento.
The tour was engaging, but it fell short in some areas. We didn't enter the buildings mentioned by the guide, which seemed to require an additional fee. The meeting point was near public restrooms, and the odor was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the guide should have had a lantern for better identification, which contributed to my disappointment. Overall, it was just an okay experience.

I participated in the 7pm Sacramento Ghost Tour on Thursday, April 29th, and opted for the ghost plush add-on along with the extended tour; however, the experience fell short of expectations. The ghost plush promised with our booking was not available, although a refund has been issued, which was disappointing. The tour itself lacked organization, as the guide began early and failed to check for arriving guests, causing us to miss significant parts of the tour. This led to confusion, especially with references to content we hadn't experienced. We only heard 2 out of the 4 stories and locations promised, and the tour concluded prematurely. When we inquired about the missing locations, we were informed they were no longer part of the experience, even though they were advertised. The storytelling was superficial and mostly anecdotal, and the overall experience did not align with what was marketed. I also reached out to the company, and while they processed the plush refund, they have not responded to the larger issues regarding the tour's quality and execution. Overall, the experience felt lacking and did not represent what was advertised, so I cannot recommend this tour.
I had a wonderful tour this evening. Even though I was the only participant, the tour continued as planned. I enjoyed the stories and gained insights about the town. I look forward to possibly revisiting some of the haunted locations before I depart.
