This was an excellent experience, ideal for team building. It offers activities suited for all skill levels, and our staff enjoyed it immensely.
Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventure Park is fantastic, but purchasing tickets online is frustrating. I attempted to buy four Black Friday tickets for my brother's family, but the process was cumbersome. The site requires all guest details and a password, which is unnecessary. I faced the same issue last year, creating a hassle for my brother. After not receiving a response from Bristol last time, I'm sharing my thoughts here in hopes it prompts change. How much potential income have you lost due to this flawed system? I'm considering getting tickets elsewhere instead. Your website needs improvements; check out Treetop Adventures for a better example.
The positive aspects: The park is quite expansive, featuring two yellow, two green, blue, and black courses. The yellow ones are for beginners, with the difficulty increasing beyond that, though I found the difference between yellow and green minimal. Our children, aged 8 and 10, navigated both courses with ease. However, participants must be older than 11 to access the blue and black courses, which looked manageable for our kids. Be sure to refer to the age chart before purchasing tickets that exceed $50 per person. Even though we didn't experience half the course, we enjoyed ourselves and spent a full 3 hours completing both yellow and green courses. The negative aspects: There were serious concerns about safety. We received minimal guidance on correctly wearing our harnesses. While I'm adept with harnesses from my work experience and was able to assist my family, the staff seemed preoccupied. Alarmingly, after we donned our harnesses, the staff merely asked if we were fine instead of verifying their secure fit. This was disappointing since the harnesses are critical for preventing potential injury or fatal falls.
The ropes courses range from beginner to advanced levels. The guides are friendly, knowledgeable, and prioritize safety. We could work at our own pace while they monitored everything. It's a unique experience that challenges both the mind and body. I highly recommend it for individuals of all ages and skill levels.
I had a disappointing experience at the Kids Adventure Park/Rock Wall & Trampoline this year compared to last year's well-organized fall sky ride. This visit was highly disorganized. After driving to the summit and parking, there was minimal signage to guide us. We eventually found the Summit Building to check in, only to discover that climbing gloves were sold out, but the resort's gloves were acceptable. Our reservation was for 12:30, but we stood around for a while, waiting for directions. An attendant's unclear hand gestures left us confused, and there was again a lack of proper signage. After we inquired about kids' trolleys—which took about 10 minutes to arrive—we finally got the kids into their courses. Later, at the rock wall and trampoline area, there were no employees to assist or explain the procedures. I had to go back to the Summit Building to ask for someone to supervise. Fortunately, upon my return, an employee was there and was very helpful. Considering the current economy, I expected much better service from Bristol Mountain, especially since the kids' area was not crowded. I believe they need to improve their organization, but I won't be returning.
