We had a fantastic weekend in Roanoke at the Black Lantern B&B, which proved to be a perfect choice. The hosts were welcoming, the room was lovely, and breakfast was delightful. Our daughter celebrated her wedding reception at the Golden Cactus Brewery, which was an incredible venue. The craft beers were superb, and the staff were very accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their time at the brewery.

If you are thinking about this tour, don’t hesitate—just book it. Having Ned as your guide would be an incredible bonus. I relocated to Roanoke in May, and this experience was perfect for me and my visiting family and friends. I would happily take more visitors on the tour soon, but unfortunately, it’s fully booked. So again, if you can secure a spot, definitely go! You will enjoy it immensely.
The food was fantastic, and I learned a lot about Roanoke's history. The tour guide had an excellent personality and did a wonderful job.

It was an ideal day.
