Additionally, a time capsule will allow travel 300 years back to meet the founder of Saudi Arabia, with visits to sites connected to King Abdulaziz and his efforts to unify the Kingdom. The historical narrative will cover the unification of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Saudi estates from 1727 until the present. • Almasmak Fort is a significant site to include in your Riyadh visit. Once the military headquarters, this fort is among the most notable castles in the city. Notably, a battle occurred at its entrance in 1902, marking the start of a new era for the kingdom, where we will reflect on King Abdulaziz's retaking of the fort. • Diriyah is the location where the history of Saudi Arabia began, serving as the foundation of the Kingdom. It was besieged for six months and destroyed by cannon fire, making it a critical site in understanding how the first Saudi state was established. This area was the original home of the Saudi royal family and acted as the capital of the Emirate of Diriyah from 1727 to 1818. The Turaif district in Addiriyah has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2010.
