During my visit to Richmond around Halloween, it was only fitting to delve into the city's eerie tales of murder, mystery, and chaos. The tour exceeded my expectations! Our guide, Jeffery, is an avid history enthusiast and shared an abundance of riveting stories about Richmond's past, including settler tragedies, the slave trade, unscrupulous merchants, sadistic individuals, ghosts, vampires, and more.

Jeffrey Holmes offers an outstanding tour of the Shockloe district in Richmond. His passion for history is evident as he thoroughly researches, reads, and interviews to vividly present the area's haunted past. Our group had eight participants, while the larger competing tour, US Ghost Adventures, had around 30, resembling a fast-food version of a ghost tour. We visited numerous sites and gained a wealth of knowledge. This was truly a fantastic experience. It's a pity for Richmond that Jeffrey moves his business to New Orleans during the winter months.
