The introduction was impressive, and the area has a lot of potential. Tiffany is a lovely person, but her storytelling missed the mark this time. My family lost interest after the second stop and hoped the next would be an improvement, which it wasn’t. I might try another tour, possibly with a different guide.
We had a great time on our girls night out with Martha. She was outstanding and kept the entertainment flowing. I would definitely recommend this for another girls night and I’m excited for more tours with this team.
I was really looking forward to this tour with my family, especially given Shockoe Bottom's rich history. However, we were disappointed by the guide. Although she was friendly and enthusiastic, her stories felt fragmented and she laughed at her own jokes too much. After about 1 hour and 45 minutes, we found ourselves bored and wanting to leave. I wouldn't recommend this guide to friends or family.
We visited for a bachelorette celebration, and Valerie was fantastic. Despite the rain, she still made the effort to ensure we had a wonderful experience. We enjoyed learning about Richmond's history.
