We arrived in Richmond a few days prior to the Ukrops Monument Avenue 10K and decided to take a tuk tuk tour around the city. It was an excellent opportunity to explore and gain insights into Richmond's history. Our driver, Paul, was fantastic—knowledgeable and engaging. We had a great time with him and gained a lot of historical knowledge. There are also various other tours focusing on different themes; we’re looking forward to trying the murals tour next. Navigating some of the cobblestone streets in the tuk tuk added a sense of adventure.
Having taken the history tour for the fourth time, I can say it continues to improve. Our guests from out of town felt it was an excellent way to explore many aspects of Richmond.

Jenny demonstrated extensive local and historical knowledge and was a safe driver with a strong voice for passengers in the back. Shockhoe Bottom stood out to us as the most fascinating area, both in terms of history and present-day significance. The pleasant weather enhanced our experience of riding in the open air. Although we typically prefer walking tours, this tour provided excellent views of the city. However, passengers over six feet may find the low-to-the-floor seating uncomfortable when the vehicle is full with more than two or three people.
