We enjoyed a fantastic walking tour with Kathy yesterday. Even with the heavy rain and wind, Kathy remained positive and shared a wealth of fascinating history about Richmond, particularly its downtown area and development. There were insights we wouldn't have discovered otherwise, and it was great to learn from a local. Thank you! B&L from Annapolis.
We had a wonderful time on our downtown Richmond walking tour with Kathy. She shared a lot of insights and provided excellent recommendations for things to do afterward. I highly recommend this experience.
The guide was excellent, and I gained a lot of insight into the history of Richmond, both past and present. The walking pace was easy, and I would certainly recommend this for any visitor.
Doug was fantastic. He provided an excellent overview of the history. We had a great time. On our next visit to Richmond, we hope to take another tour with Doug.
The guide was unacceptably late, arriving a quarter of an hour behind schedule without any explanation. We were told the museums were part of a separate tour, which forced us to cut our itinerary short, even visiting a hospital instead. It felt like an imposition. At the Anglican Church, we opted to leave the group and attend the Good Friday service.
Jason was excellent. He maintained a comfortable pace and shared plenty of intriguing information. This tour was a fantastic introduction to the city. I would highly recommend it.
I enjoyed a lovely two-night stay at this hotel. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. A special mention goes to Roger, who offered a warm welcome and recommended a top-floor room with excellent views, Barbara, the cheerful breakfast attendant with a sincere smile, and John, who wished us a good morning as we left for breakfast. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast had a good variety of options. Highly recommend.
