The canyoning experience with Vertical Rivers was incredible. AJ was outstanding from the booking process to the final drop-off. We opted for the half-day Rock Jam Canyon since we were new to this type of adventure, and it provided the perfect level of thrill while ensuring our safety. The canyon was stunning, and we had plenty of chances to rappel, slide, and jump. The wetsuits kept us warm throughout, and AJ captured many amazing photos, so I never had to worry about my phone. I highly recommend the final rappel; it was a highlight. I would give it ten stars if I could.

I appreciated how thrilling it was without being overly daunting. Our guide, AJ, was organized, engaging, and ensured everyone's safety while tailoring the experience to our individual comfort levels. The tour was well-paced with minimal waiting, making each rappel or slide flow perfectly into the next. The entire experience was exhilarating yet secure, allowing me to fully immerse myself and try everything. This experience was truly one of the best I've ever had. It combines the thrill of whitewater rafting, hiking, and rock climbing in a way that's even more exciting. AJ was fantastic—he was knowledgeable, professional, and ensured we had a great time. When I was the only one scheduled, instead of canceling, he brought along friends so I could still participate. I wholeheartedly recommend this and plan to return to Revelstoke for another go. In terms of physical demands, I'm relatively active and have some experience with belaying and natural waterslides, but prior experience isn't necessary—just embrace the adventure! I did struggle at times with footing on the rocks, partly because visibility was limited in the whitewater and I’ve been cautious since a knee injury. If you have knee or ankle concerns, it might be more challenging mentally, but it's totally manageable and well worth the effort. Even on a cooler day, I felt comfortable in the provided wetsuit. Just remember to wear supportive footwear.

I can't recommend this enough and will definitely return to Revelstoke for another go. My main challenge was finding the right footing on the rocks at times, partly due to the whitewater obscuring my view and my own caution from a past knee injury.
