This was truly one of the best tours I've experienced. There were just two of us, and our driver, Kalmar, was wonderful—caring, knowledgeable, and attentive. Our guide JP brought the tour to life by sharing great stories and introducing us to locals. We received an insider's perspective. This tour is essential when visiting Reno.
The transportation was a clean and comfortable Mercedes sprinter van. The driver was punctual and excellent. Our guide, Marcus, was enthusiastic and well-informed about the history of Virginia City and the local Reno area. If you enjoy mining, the old West, and Mark Twain, this tour is perfect for you. We explored the town, but be cautious of the uneven surfaces since much of it is historic. The tour is quite adaptable, so feel free to make requests; they are eager to help. Snacks and water were provided, but you can also find food or go shopping. Don’t miss the fudge at Grandma's Fudge Factory and consider stopping for a drink at the Bucket of Blood Saloon.
